ghetto. Please remove it before it flies off and hits my car ;)
pic??? :eek3d:
pic? figure it out yourself if you're so recourceful.
shit looks nasty... take it off. With the time and effort you put into that you could have sold drugs on the street and bought something else.

no need to put a lip on a stock car.
if your car was low down and had wheels, it would look better.

Yeah, I don't think anyone is concerned with the cracked turn signal, more like the 4x4 ride height. Prolly should fix that before anything. That was $8 that could have went towards suspension mods. Slow and steady wins the race YO.

drop your car so it is scrapping and then that might look good. but it turned out better than i thought it could.

Mike- your car looks awesome. I didn't realize how much better the chuki bumper looks without the emblem....
NotDave (then who are you? haha)- I sure it would look better if the car was lower and the lip was straight. I saw a CRX that riveted it on ( i wouldn't recomend that especially as the lip gets scraped up. But it had a stick on the garden trim that said.... Home Depot SPL

ask and you shall receive.

everyone starts from shit, this was me 8 years ago when i barely knew how to change oil. my second accomplishment was changing my starter.
anyway, i ended up making the intake out of a few basic parts.. hey, it worked.. it wasnt glamorous.. but man, its comical looking at these old images.

LOL silver paint YO! i think best intake setup is relocate the battery, get some short aluminum piping, put the filter where the battery was, get some aluminum flex tubing run it from the bumper vents. Cheap easy and better imo. wow imma save taht pic

i also dug this up.. this was my motor after i refreshed it in 2002:
http://www.clearcorners.com/temp/engine2.jpg
then of course, we have my current setup.. the engine will look a lot better when i finish my FMIC and paint the engine bay, roof, and car.
http://clearcorners.com/temp/old_s13/OLD14.JPG
anyway, sorry for hijacking this thread.. but whatever, its a crap thread anyway. i mean, its a garden divider.. does it even serve any aerodynamic function? who knows.. all i know is its ugly.. much like my old SOHC (well, until it was refreshed of course.. then it was less ugly)
[ note, the car's wiring is in shambles so i dont want to hear anything about the wires you see on the side. ]

your motor STILL looks like doo, Mike. That's okay though.. once the package is complete, it'll be better.

yer telling me, the only thing i like about the new motor setup is that its all low key and empty. everything will be black, i have no interest in showing off my engine bay anymore. socal sucks and the last thing i want is to do all this work and get slammed by some asshole cop (although, not all cops are assholes)
an89>Hey whats up, I seen your post, and you had an intake pipe that you were showing, I am wondering, how did you make that blue pipeing that connected to the maf?? Also what size was it? I am doing a ka24et, and I need to make that pipe. Do you happen to still have it by any chance? get back to me please thanks
i dont have that silly pipe anymore, i trashed it. i had some buddy make it at a muffler shop back in the day.. its just crap crush bent exhaust piping.. no science to it. then i had it powdercoated and it looked nicer, big stink. if you're going KA24ET then you'll obviously have a lot of piping work to do.. better make connections with a good welder and just make all your pipes.
good luck,
- mike

HomeDepot Motorsports rocks. What the hell is so cool about your JDM aero if it cracks every time you go off track? HDM just bends! Does it serve an aerodynamic purpose? Of course not.

I don't care if you don't like it. And its not garden divider, its wall base liner! hahhhaha

The garden trim may not be pretty, but it can be effective as long as you brace it properly.

Garden trim is pretty badass on an AE86. Doesn't look right on an 180SX front, though. Not sure how it'd look on a S13 Silvia.

I think it looks ok but needs to be smoother.... maybe on a 89-90 bumper... i was ganna do somthing like that to my car cuz i cant find a stock lip anywhere.. but its your car so i like that you did what you want to it
