WARNING: LOTS OF PICTURES!!!!!
I keep looking at all these build threads and have come to the conclusion that I finally make my own. Little background about me first. My name is Joey. I came from the euro scene a few years back and one thing I pride myself in is bringing the clean/oem style from the euro with me to contribute to the s-chassis scene as well. I've had numerous 240's but this is the first one I've gone this in depth with. It all started with a janky, rotted coupe I had...
http://i1204.photobucket.com/albums/bb414/joeyjohnsick911/IMG_2424.png (http://s1204.photobucket.com/user/joeyjohnsick911/media/IMG_2424.png.html)
I ended up trading that coupe (without the Eurolines, of course haha) for this RHD shell. I picked up this car with a SR in it. The firewall was swapped, but, everything else was sitting on floor of the car (wiring, dash, subframe, rack, etc.) I loaded her up on the trailer and brought her home. Don't worry, the first things to go were those HIDEOUS stickers. I got under the car and tried to find rust or rot because I knew there had to be some hiding somewhere, as I live in New England. After searching for a couple hours, I couldn't find a single speck anywhere. None of the subframes, the rails, ANYWHERE. I was sooo stoked.
http://i1204.photobucket.com/albums/bb414/joeyjohnsick911/image-2.jpeg (http://s1204.photobucket.com/user/joeyjohnsick911/media/image-2.jpeg.html)
I ended up going through hell and back with the wiring. The harness was actually cut on the body side. The part that was cut was the entire extension that goes up through the dash. Now, I'm not sure how many of you have actually pulled apart a dash harness, but, Nissan decided to use 7836593457 of the same color wires for 586235 different things. So the wiring quickly became a headache. I ended up making a LHD harness work as a temporary solution until the winter when I ended up buying new 180sx harnesses from a fellow forum member here.
Finally got alllll the electronics working and the SR started. Here is a pic of the interior of it.
http://i1204.photobucket.com/albums/bb414/joeyjohnsick911/photo1.jpeg (http://s1204.photobucket.com/user/joeyjohnsick911/media/photo1.jpeg.html)
So this is the part of the story where all hell broke loose. After 2 months of wiring hassles, I get the car running and driving and take her out. The car was driving good, running well, I was the happiest guy alive. A couple days later, I decided to try my hand at sliding with the RHD because, well, it needed to be done. I go and initiate annndddd knock, knock, knock, knock, knock. Spun bearing. I knew what it was immediately because this was the 3rd SR to do that to me.
http://i1204.photobucket.com/albums/bb414/joeyjohnsick911/photo2.jpeg (http://s1204.photobucket.com/user/joeyjohnsick911/media/photo2.jpeg.html)
Skip ahead a month to when I have the motor out of the car. I first dropped the pans to see if i could throw some bearings in there and make it last a bit but, all the rods, pistons, bearings, and even the crank, were blue and yellow. Which didn't make sense to me until a couple hours later. I was pulling the motor apart and I found a piece of 10G power wire stuffed into my turbo feed line. I don't know who's train of thought would say "Hmmm, this looks like a good idea!" but, it was there. What I'm assuming happened was the little t25 wasn't getting any oil, was superheating and thus caused everything to fry and get blue and yellow. I could be wrong. It's happened before. I then started buying the fixings to rebuild/build an SR20DET
http://i1204.photobucket.com/albums/bb414/joeyjohnsick911/photo.jpg (http://s1204.photobucket.com/user/joeyjohnsick911/media/photo.jpg.html)
Long story short, I ended up scrapping the SR and decided to go RB. I picked up a RB25 car with a questionable body and drove it, drifted it, etc. for a couple months. I then lost my license which is when things started getting a bit heavy for the RHD.
http://i1204.photobucket.com/albums/bb414/joeyjohnsick911/image-4.jpg (http://s1204.photobucket.com/user/joeyjohnsick911/media/image-4.jpg.html)
I ended up selling that blue shell and got the RB ready to get all prettied up for the RHD, because the RHD is in the middle of a full shaved and tubbed bay along with a nice cage.
I pulled the RB apart to do a head gasket because it over heated a couple times and I was paranoid. And to my surprise, I pull the head off, and BAM. The thing is fucking gorgeous. Perfect cylinder walls, perfect fire rings, everything was amazing on it. For once in my life, I had finally lucked out on a good motor.
This is how the RB sits as of last weekend. It'll be all buttoned up this weekend and ready to go in the RHD.
http://i1204.photobucket.com/albums/bb414/joeyjohnsick911/RB25.jpg (http://s1204.photobucket.com/user/joeyjohnsick911/media/RB25.jpg.html)
This is the RHD bay as of today, 08/22/2014. My best friend at DTM Autowerks is the engine bay king. Go on IG and look up DTM autowerks and #dtmautowerks and you'll see some of the bays he's done. He started the filler work today and should have the bay finished and painted this weekend. it's getting a painted Valencia orange from the BMW 1M.

Here's a brief update of what's going, guys. The bay got completely finished this past weekend. It is absolutely gorgeous! My buddy ended up wanting a stock RB turbo and I wanted his holset, so we ended up trading and all I can say is I can't wait to get bigger injectors and get this bitch tuned! I got the RB all ready to go in and I should be getting her put in within the next few days! Here's a couple pics:

Haha well, most people automatically assume for DUI or speeding or something reckless..but..I lost mine for having too many non-inspection tickets hahaha.
Thanks for the kind words I'll keep it updated as more happens!
On a second note, just placed an order with Raw Brokerage to wrap up the little pieces that I needed like new radiator hoses and couplers because the old ones didn't match the new colors.

Got the engine harness routed aside from the maf connector. Waiting on the last bit of parts to come in from Raw Brokerage. BUT! I started her up last night! Gotta trace a short to the ecu relay which SUCKS but hey, she started up briefly. Man, did I miss that sound.
Sorry for the shitty IG screenshot pic

Got the last parts I needed from Raw Brokerage. Man, their customer service is unreal.
I think I found the wiring issue last night. The engine was starting and then turning off after I let go of the "START" position. The ecu wasn't turning on the the "ON" position nor was the fuel pump relay clicking. When I turned the key to the start position, the fuel pump would click and the ecu would light up so I switched the ignition wire and accessory wire at the ignition switch and everything works like it should. ECU turns on in accessory position and fuel pump relay does its cycle. So, theoretically, it should start and stay running. I'll find out tonight!

So, I tried starting the car last night. It cranks but doesn't fire/start with the new configuration. Back to the drawing board. I hate wiring gremlins.

Alright dudes, I need some advice. Here's the issue:
The engine was starting and then turning off after I let go of the "START" position. The ecu wasn't turning on the the "ON" position nor was the fuel pump relay clicking. When I turned the key to the start position, the fuel pump would click and the ecu would light up so I switched the ignition wire and accessory wire at the ignition switch. The ECU now lights up and the fuel pump relay does its prime cycle. But, when I crank it, it won't start. But, when I have the wires the other way at the switch (the way they're configured when the ecu isn't getting power), it'll start but turns off when i let go of the key. I did find a burned wire to the ECU relay, but, it has continuity and carries the load of 12.5 volts. I'm at a loss here.

Have you checked and verified the power coming off the ignition key cylinder? Remove the steering wheel shaft plastics to gain access to the electrical terminals on the key cylinder. Turn the key to 'on' and check for power at acc terminal. Turn the key to 'start' and check for power at starter. The electrical cylinder may be faulty; not sending power to all the required wires. If this is the case, it can be temporarily fixed by jumping the dead wire to another constant power wire (on the cylinder). Example on S14:
http://i954.photobucket.com/albums/ae27/davidibeiler/IMG_20140216_140359492_zpsaed4896b.jpg (http://s954.photobucket.com/user/davidibeiler/media/IMG_20140216_140359492_zpsaed4896b.jpg.html)
The electrical cylinder can also be disassembled and cleaned. Be careful, though. Several little springs and BBs inside will pop out and possibly get lost. Example on S14:

I did check the power coming off the ignition switch and it all seemed fine. I'll double check that tonight when I get to the shop while i'm going over everything else. Worst case, I'll try and find an extra ignition switch laying around and see if that does anything. Thank you

Ok dudes, found the gremlin last night. Check power at the ignition switch connector on each wire in each key position. One of the wires was pinned incorrectly. I switched the wire and the digi cluster lit up and the ecu turns on/off like its supposed to. I'm gonna try and start it tonight because the battery didn't have enough juice to crank the engine.

Also, HUGE props and thanks to David at Raw Brokerage. The upper radiator hose needs to be trimmed to fit with a front facing intake mani and it wasn't lining up and too much was trimmed off. I called Dave and he sent me one right away with no charge to me. I will continue to go to Raw Brokerage for any part I need in the future.

Didn't make much progress this weekend because I ended up fixing a 4 wheeler I got for $50 and spent the weekend shredding that thing hah. Should be doing the brake lines tonight. Also ordered a clutch master cylinder from a 97 Nissan Pathfinder which supposedly is about half the size of a regular s13 CM. Hopefully should clear the intake mani now.

So I took her for the first drive last night! A few little things to work and come to find our, the rear wheel bearing is roasted but aside from that, I'm happy as fuck. Engine runs well, idles a little high but I'm ok with it because it makes this OS Giken clutch easier to start in first haha. Gotta put the rest of the front end and kit on later today.

Any update on this build?
Hey guys! Sorry for the lack of updates on here.
At the beginning of the season, I finally picked up big injectors, standalone, z32 maf, etc. The standalone I picked up from a good friend of mine. Him and I are running identical setups so I just plugged it in and went from there. A retune is coming this winter but I had perfect AFR's so it wasn't too much of a concern.
A few weeks back, my intake cam snapped. We are still trying to figure out exactly what happened but my season ended prematurely because of it. There is a full rebuild/build coming this winter. The plan is to do both the bottom and top end.
Here's some updated pictures.

I also finally put in the roll cage and painted the whole rear half of the car. I'm pretty happy with how it came out.

Car looks so good and must be the only RHD car in New Hampshire lol. Whereabouts in NH are you from? I was born in Lebanon and my Dad's side of the family is from there as well. Hope to move there one day in the future.

Thank you. Surprisingly enough, there's a couple rhd s13's in NH. I live in the southern end of the state in the Manchester/Nashua area. I love it out here.

Thanks guys! I appreciate it. There are quite a few things planned out for over the winter.
Back in July, I was driving down the road and heard this terribly loud rapping noise under the valve cover. Pulled the cover off and the rear most cam cap on the exhaust came snapped off...The bolts snapped and the cap was jumping around under the cover. We still don't know how it happened. I ended up throwing a new head on it because my buddy had a loaded one laying around and was cheaper than sourcing a cap and then getting everything line honed.
Fast forward to about 3 weeks ago. New head is on, drive the car a couple hours down south to Staggered, put about 500 miles on it all together...I'm leaving my friends house up here and turn on to the street and there was this strange loud tick sound and then the engine shut off. Pulled over to the side of the road and pull the timing cover off...Intake camshaft snapped. Right where the VTC oil galley is.
Unfortunately, there was some scoring on that part of the head now so I may need to source another head if it can't be machined back to spec. The plan is to pull the motor out of the car in the next coming week or so and do a full tear down to see if there's something fucky somewhere.
I'm planning on revamping the top and bottom end. It's already in the works. I'll be doing rods, pistons, cams, valves, springs, retainers, the whole 9 yards, along with addressing the common issues that RB's have with the oiling issues (crank collar and add extra head drain).
I'll get some pictures posted of the snapped cam and all that and post them so you can see. It was a bummer that it broke again right at the end of the season, but, that's just the way she goes. At least I got some good driving out of it before it broke for the winter. Build it, break it, repeat.
Here's a couple photos of the damage the other day when the cam snapped:
I was lucky enough to have only these 2 intake valves hit
