View Full Version : Any interest in GM Plug and Play Coil Harnesses?

I make alot of subharnesses for various cars and looking to start playing around with Nissans.
I personally am making a PnP Coil harness for my Rb.
If there is enough interest, I wouldnt mind making them in excess.
Everything would be brand new;
New Connectors
New Pins
New Wire Seals
Nylon Loomed
Dbl Layer Adhesive Heatshrink.
Heres an example of one I make. Injector resistor box for eg/dc/ek.

I'd be interested, mine look like dooky next to the wiring specialties engine harness in my bay. Pricing would likely be the deciding factor. I wish I could say nice work but unfortunately the pic didn't show up for me. Feel free to PM me about pricing :)

If you're gonna do it for the low, go for it. People in the Nissan game are even stingier than Honda folks.

Pricing would be between $75 and $125. I think that would be a fair price for a brand new harness.
Obviously SR would be slightly cheaper than an RB due to material requirements.

I could do around $100 for a plug and play conversion harness for sr.

I wouldnt for see it being any more than that.
I am just gauging interest at the moment. Connectors have been ordered. Just waiting for them to land and start making them.
I need to sit down and look at all the pinouts and connectors on S13/14 SR's and a S1 RB.

hard part is making the ignitor bypass in such a fashion that its plug and play.
I will start offering complete pnp kits thought my parts shop once a few details and some kinks in the coil pack mounting solution get sorted out..

I know it's been discussed elsewhere but it might help to mention what coil packs to use, why it's better and approximate total cost.

If you work out a plug and play kit for ls coils on sr20 I've got money with your name on it.

Interested. Have a rb25 s2 in s14 zenki. I have an LS2(car not truck) coils coming in and was going to make one but if your making the harness i would be interested. Planing on mounting the coils in between the fire wall and the passenger strut bar tower. Let me know. Thanks

I have a s1 rb25 and if you make a harness that's pnp I will buy it. What about brackets and spark plug wires?

Do you have a photo of it? I have only been researching S2 and S14 SR's at the moment.

Well the GM Plugs came in. Should be mocking up the harness this weekend on my S2 RB25.
Awaiting a source on the Black 8 pin RB25 Coilpack Harness Plug and then I will green light the S2 RB25 setup.

Just need to go outside and get the pinout for the factory coil pack harness (Unless someone has a S2 Coilpack Harness kicking and they want to pinout it out quickly for me. ;) ;) ). Then add that connector and the RB25DET S2 harness will be done. My friend who does my dyno work also agreed to do a before and after on Factory vs. GM Truck Coils. Also looking into a dimple die coil pack cover that these bolt to for a more PnP experience.

Really needing a plug and play s13 sr - Gm coil setup. I believe it should be the same as s14?
