Hey everybody! I've had my baby Darla (93 s13) since I was 16 (I'm 24 now) last year I got tired of my old busted ass ka and decided to to do a full restoration/modification with engine swap. I currently have her stripped to nothing but a chassis and am attempting stitch welding. I've seen 2 different variations of this. I've seen people drill through the sheet metal in between the welds that come from the factory. I've also seen people just weld along the edges of the top layer of sheet metal. Was curious what are the pros and cons of each approach?

Also... I'm currently going to UTA pursuing a mechanical engineering degree paid for by my service as a 91B in the U.S Army. If that doesn't tell you I'm serious, I don't know what will...
