I'm looking for some new rubber for my new wheels. The wheels are 17x9 +27 all around. I'm thinking 245/45/17 falken azenis all around would be a very nice set-up...any other suggestions?

Also, do you think i'll have to worry about rubbing or clearance with my tein HE's and stock rolled fenders?

NZO runs 17x9+30 w/ 245 tires all around I believe...with a 5mm spacer making effective offset +25

don't quote me, this is off the top of my head

lol. for my front end test fit we used Dunlop SP8000 275/40/R17. They fit perfectly with a slightly pulled fender and like 3deg camber. Forgot the offset on the rim though..... and yeah, it was on a 17x9

my advans are sitting on 235/45/17 on a wierd ass off set +42 in the rear.
They rub if i put them in the front but not in the rear. But i dont want to change the tires cause the advans came with potenza Re-01's with 99% meat.

but i think 235/40/17 or even 35 would be cool.

With that wheel size and offset and that size tire, you WILL rub the HE's (in the front that is). Unfortunately the collar design on the HE's sucks like that...

I have HE's and my wheels are 17x9 +22 in the front (17x9 +30 with a 5mm and a 3mm spacer) and i have 225/45/17s and it barely clears.

discount tire wheels? i was gonna go with 17x9 +27 rear on 235/45/17s and 17x8 +28 235/45/17s front and i researched it pretty good and figured out that it will work.

As i'm sure you know, the 245 is the widest 17" azenis sport they make.

I love those tires and would rock the 245/45/17 on a 17x9 rim (i run them on 17x8 on my car). The problem for you seems like it'll be coilover clearance. You may want to play around with some spacers??

Shit i dont want to jack this thread but since were on the topic, with 17x8.5 30 offset what size tires would fit the front. I just got a spring and shock set up not planning on changeing anytime soon, whats a good size tire that wont rub?!?!?

if i had 17x9 all around. I'd either go with 245-45-17 Azenis Sport, or 255-40-17 Toyo RA-1's, just make sure you have a racing seat.

a racing seat will be in the mix within the next two monts ;)

But it sounds like 245's up front won't clear? what size spacer should i get if I wanted them to clear my HE's? 5mm? 10mm? Or should I just put 225's up front and call it a day?

i wouldnt run staggered on an s13 cause of it's natural understeer "tendancy". Just go for 245's all around. Dont settle for less. I'm sure a 10 or 15mm spacer will be enough...unless you run an agressive front alignment that may make up for tire sizing. Just wait for more responses cause i'm sure many people run 245 in the front and they can help you

thanks, but this isn't an s13. soo...245 all around in an S14 with front spacers?

If you run 245s in the front with HE's you'll have to run ATLEAST a 10mm spacer if not more.

i can do 245's in front with spacers, or 225's without spacers?
