Who here has seen this movie?!?!? If you haven't, you NEED to. It's just that good. Why is noone talking about this movie???
Hilarious from start to finish, amazing action scenes, and even some heart tugging scenes. They introduce the characters well, and solidify often where they belong in the story, how, and why they are there. The effects are some of the best in the biz, the makeup is amazing and even very close shots do them justice.
They managed to capture the humanity of a talking racoon, and a 3 word saying tree perfectly. They almost steal the show, and their special relationship is just icing on the cake. I thought Dave Bautista would really be a drag on the movie, but boy was I so wrong. Dude held his own and proves that he has good comedic timing, and actually adds to the movie instead of just being a big muscle bound filler.
I could go on and on, just go see this movie, you will have a blast.

I have been watching trailers over and over for now until I get back to U.S late this month.
Hopefully the theaters still have them on by then.

Guessing it was just for shits and giggles...
I hadn't gone to a movie for years until last Sunday and I wasn't disappointed.
May be sacrilegious to say but it game me that 'watching Star Wars for the first time' feeling.
Almost lost it at "pelvic wizardry" line.

It wasn't...
Actually it was, the director said it does not imply future movie plans, and was just a stab at the old Howard the Duck Marvel movie that tanked.

The release date for Guardians of the Galaxy 2 was announced at Comic Con. Jul. 28th, 2017
Howard the Duck has crossed over to other comics.
After credit scenes in Marvel movies always have some meaning.
Seems like a lot of effort for a gag.

SPOILER ALERT.
The Howard the duck moment at the end was meant to draw attention to Adam Warlock's OPEN cocoon which probably means that he'll be in GOTG 2

Pelvic wizardry was awesome...lol... And I felt the same way. It's like Peter Quill is the new Han Solo. They did a great job. It was better than anticipated.
And now we know exactly what runs thru Agent Coulson & Sky's veins on Agents of SHIELD.

Great movie. I was captivated from start to finish. Loved all the characters, even Ronan who was the "weakest" out of all of them (IMO). As for Thanos....can't wait to see him in Avengers 3! (rumored of course). There were a lot of unanswered questions that I'm sure we'll see in GOTG 2.
It definitely has a Star Wars feel to it. I thought Rocket & Groot were comparable to Han Solo & Chewbacca. While Peter was comparable to Luke.

I wondered if nova of nova corps was in that planet http://i.annihil.us/u/prod/marvel//universe3zx/images/thumb/b/b3/Nova442.jpg/406px-Nova442.jpg and if he would be in the sequel that'd be bad ass. Also I swear I thought I saw mojo in the collection of the collector????? http://captaincollectoys.com/4087-large/figurine-plomb-marvel-hors-serie-mojo.jpg

I'm going based off what James Gunn recently said
"It’s definitely not the character who it is in the comics, I’ll say that much"

^^^Ahhhh.... I'd be okay with that since I don't know anything about the Guardians or Adam Warlock. In the comics, Peter's dad is royalty from some future space empire. Sounds kinda dumb when I read it on wiki.

I definitely noticed them too. They were kind of out of place with the seductive faces they would have (not that I'm complaining).

Finally see the movie on Saturday. It totally did feel like seeing Star Wars the first time except Peter Quill is fucking awesome. I loved the relationship between Rocket and Groot. And Groot was bad ass. Zoe Saldana. Fuck.
The humor was so good. I laughed the whole time. I love that this movie sets up so much more for the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
This was my favorite Marvel movie so far. I liked it even more than Avengers, and CA3.

Nah, no joke. Whenever Zoe Saldana is on screen, I lose my shit. Even painted green... Takes me a few scenes to recover, so I probably glanced right past the hot Nova corps. Plus, I was so busy trying to scan every damn scene for easter eggs, I probably missed a lot of obvious stuff too.

I second Zoe Saldana. I kept rooting for Peter to hit that shit. For all us funny white dudes that want to get busy with a smokin hot green chick. She's so fine I'd suck her daddy's dick...Thanos...

Personally, I've never felt the need to suck a penis for any reason, so I don't know about that one. But I always thought you were black, for some reason... lol

Not meant to be a knock on the movie
the music in it of itself is great and works very well with the film
but when I think of 70s music soundtrack I think Reservoir Dogs
