i have a pair of rotors. assuming they were just cleanly surfaced 240 rotors i put em on. it don't fit. it was drivable, but the rotors obviously got grinded on its edges just a bit. probably 20 rotations. bad noises made me scared so i pulled it off and remeasured wtih the stock rotors, and it's off by a couple of mm. driving on a 96 240sx. i find these rotors useless as of right now. i would like to know where these rotors came from, if anyone has an idea...

Let me guess... your car doesn't have ABS? If so, then you have rotors for a 240SX with ABS. They're 5mm larger in diameter (257mm vs. 252mm) and 2mm thicker (22mm vs. 20mm).

ahh that makes more sense. do they differ front/back in size as well?

All 240SX rear rotors are the same size... and they're all way different from the front (roughly the same diameter but only 9mm thick).
