FAQ

What’s the purpose of having an offset strut?
When you run longer LCA's (lower control arms) than your standard items there is an increase in negative camber. Moving the strut top out helps to decrease camber and in doing so with the wheel sitting further out of the wheel arch, this will allow for more steering lock. The other benefit in these strut tops is that they also have castor adjustment.

What's the benefit of adjusting castor from the top of the strut?
Adjusting castor from the top of the strut means less steering bind of the tie rod end. Steering bind brings significant load to your steering rack, tie rod ends and your knuckle so adusting from the top of the strut is beneficial.

Do these jack the car up?
Yes, they raise the height of the car around 20mm's over your standard strut tops. Simply reduce the height of your coilover and it will counteract the height difference.

Do you make these for other cars?
No, we only sell the products listed on our website. If it's not listed on here, then we don't sell it. Sorry.

Are these hard to install?
No, not at all. Pop your bonnet, unbolt your current strut tops from your coilover, jack your car up so the strut falls down and slip the new plates in their place. Total install time of around 30 minutes (or less).

Will I have to get a wheel alignment after installing these?
Yes, after installing these offset strut mounts your camber (and castor if you adust it) will have altered so it is best to get a front wheel alignment.
