Hi there. I recently bought some taillights for very cheap. They are painted and I was wondering what will be good to remove the paint without melting the plastic. Looks like it was clear coated also 7397173971

if they were prepped properly before they were painted... you're screwed. you can take a few hours and wet sand them with some 600 grit paper, but you will have to buff them after your sand through all of the paint. It will take forever but if you have the will, its the only way. you could always repaint the blue portions a less offensive color... maybe black?

Yeah I think they were prepped pretty good.haha. I might just have to sand them down little by little like you said. And then wet sand and buff them out. I didn't want to paint them black only cause I want the red reflector to show. They painted over it
