This air intake is my first mod for my s14. I noticed an immediate eagerness that wasn't there previously. I was expecting a bit more sound but overall i'm happy. Later on this week i will attaching the CAE....it seems like i have to take off the front bumper shield to install this. Any advice out there?

You dont have to remove the bumper shield, just remove front driver side tire, pull out the clips from the wheel well, and you can pull it back to fit the filter through. You will get that sound when you put on the CAE <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>
This page was a great help to me when I did mine.

no, you don't have to remove your wheel. just park your car with the steering wheel cranked all the way to the right. install the cai from below. you don't need to jack up the car or anything. 2 screws remove the plastic cover on the bottom and wheelwell, then just reach in from below and from the wheelwell, and do all the bolts.

CAE makes the sound louder? I thought the sound would quiet down. It's already loud with the short ram intake.
