Im getting my stock flywheel resurface and i need to get new bolts . Ive searched and found the size of the bolts , but i was wondering if you can interchange bolts from sr and ka . Its too late to call nissan , but i called courtesy parts and they said 4.90 a bolt , and i think i need 8 of them . Also I searched and found the size of the bolt to be 10 x 1.0 and 25mm in legnth . I went to boltdepot.com and could only find "Steel grade 8.8 fine thread
Made from medium carbon steel and zinc plated. Best for general hardware use where high strength is not required. Fine and super fine metric thread pitches. " Id like to find some stronger bolts and with hex heads , because the 12point head bolts seems like a pain if they were to round off .Please , someone has to know , any info would be appreciated , and thanks in advance .

hey how's it going man. sorry but the KA bolts are way bigger than SR bolts so u can NOT use them. superior nissan can get you stock sr20 flywheel bolts for about 10 bucks EACH! wat i ended up doing was buying the 8.8 grade bolts from bolt depot. they say stock nissan bolts are even softer than that (something like grade 5) so i feel pretty safe going w/ the 8.8. they come as 6 point as well. i love them compared to the stupid, soft, 12 point bolts from the stock sr. i ended up stripping every single one of them.....

thanks , i ordered the 8.8 bolts from boltdepot.com , im called them and they said that it might be ok but i wasnt sure how strong the stock bolts were. I orderd some 10 bolts from boltdepot , but i still have the stock 12pt ones , so ill figure out which ones to use sooner or later. Also i called courtesy nissan and they told me they could get me a flywheel bolt for 4.90 a piece which are the same ones used in the nissan sentra se-r (92?). sr20de , well thats the info i got and ill tell you guys how it goes , thanks for your input
