Trying to put a RB20DET into a s13. Just have a quick question about this brown plug.

Ok so I stuck on side of the engine harness through the firewall, it has a few plugs on it, and the main ECU plug... There are two more plugs right with the ECU plug, one is brown, and one is white. The brown one actually has the same connection as the s13 brown plug, but not sure if the pins are the same. The white plug is (guessing) the dash plug, which has the fuel pump wire on it. So what exactly is this brown plug? Does it ground the ECU or anything? Because right now my ECU has no power.

And yes, that's the wiring speciality harness obviously, but it's the same setup it seems like.

It depends on what year your car is. White is for 89-90 and brown is 91-94. My car is 91 and the white plug is not used.

It's a 93. I'm just trying to figure out what that brown plug actually does. Gauges?
