Well last night I put on my new calipers and rotors from a Q45 and took a couple pics along the way.

This is before

Here are two of the 4 calipers I bought. I bought the red ones off a guy from another board and then went to autozone and bought some rebuilt ones.

The red piece in this pic is the piece that you do not get when you buy the calipers from autozone or wherever that you need. This is why you need them from a junkyard or from the dealership

This is them done Also I bought the rotors already redrilled from fastbrakes.com

nicely done, i can't believe you got jus the brackets, nobody would sell me just the brackets (Nissan/Infiniti/Junkyard/autostore), so i had to buy a whole new set...bastards...

What did you use to cut the heatshield? mine is partially trimmed, partially bent...squeeks occasionally still

Yeah I didnt get just the brackets I bought the brackets with calipers from another guy who had them on his car so basically they were ready to go but I wanted rebuilt ones so they would last. I just used the brackets from the used ones

I used a dremel tool and cut about an inch in every 4 inches and then bent that back
Heres a pic of that:

And I got the rotors for 120 shipped He also had slotted ones for I think 70 or something like that a piece Go ahead and email him or call him Hes a good guy takes a little over 2 weeks to get them

OptionZero where did you get the metal master pads for the Q45 calipers?

All I could find were stock replacement and I ended up buying OEM ones

i got the pads from www.axxispads.com, DO NOT go there, look else where....they were friggin slow on shipping, took 'em forever to restock cuz they didn't have any. NO phone number to call, slow email replies...seems like you can do better elsewhere.

Pads, ~$40-$80 depending how hardcore pads you want or if u think JDM tyte helps

Brembo Blanks ~$100 pair from nopi.com, towards $200 if you want crossdrilled or slotted

Stainless steel 240sx lines ~$65, takamotorsports.com

Speed bleeders, $10 from PDM-racing.com

Calipers from junkyard $70-80 each

Rebuilt calipers...damn i forgot $40 each + $50 core? not sure...ask Kragen or Autozone

Brake Fluid DOT 3/4, Brake Disc Cleaner, Brake Pad gooey stuff, misc crap: ~20-30 if u need tools

You'll need a ratchet set, cutting materials for heat shield, possibly a hammer to knock the old rotor out (mine was semi stuck, lightly tapped it to get it loose)

I'd love to do this but I want to make sure there gonna fit behind my Rikens. Otherwise I'll have to wait for another set of rims....
