i bought that fusion paint(made for plastics and vinyl) the shit chips and will make the car worse.....it says needs no primer....but the paint will not stick with out primer.......also at 5 bucks a can it is a waste.....

There's stuff called "Vinyl Dye". A lot of guys use it on computer parts, etc, with great results. It's intended for use on car parts, but I've never tried it.

i used that same vinyl paint from advanced auto for my headliner and sunvisors, looks great hasnt faded and doesnt chip. its hard to explain or beleive, but it really kind of dyes the plastic. it doesnt feel like it has a coat of paint on it and doesnt look like it either, it dries almost instantly and really looks just like a dye when its done. well, it did for me at least :)

Damn... Im deinfatly going to try this stuff out. im goign to head to autozone today.
I used vinyl paint on a brown dash from the junk yard. Its been 2 months without problems...looks fucking awsome too. I would advise against any kind of amorall though. My paint was in a rattle can, and I am notoriously known for not being able to spray, however it turned out really nice..i let it run in 1 place(where the door covers when shut so its ok)
