We already know the Phantom Grip doesn't work that great, and now we have knock-offs of it...AWESOME!
My Opinion: For the same $300, get a VLSD that is guaranteed to work. I don't care what people say about slow acting, whatever...it's still a real limited slip.

Actually the newest Phantom Grip, the "Extreme" model has yet to get a bad reveiw for the 240sx,at least that I've seen. Besides; Who says JGY didn't firgure out the flaw of the original design of the phantom grip and fix it?
Either way I give them props for making their own products and trying it out.
Nismo240sx-I can't wait to see how it does ! You could run a zilvia special and install it in a couple of local zilvia members cars for a much cheaper rate to test it or something? You got a willing and ready RMS13 right here !
How much will it cost? The FWD one is $219 IIRC....
Best of luck to getting it to work great,I personally am looking for an inexpensive street LSD, helical would be perfect for me but I can't afford that.

And thats what we did. Well sort of. We knew we wanted to start somewhat of the same platform as the other brand... but we studied and designed ours totally different. Ours is made tool steel. And its heat tempered, meaning it will last longer than the differential. We've installed the FWD version with green springs on our Se-r drag car, and it works great! As for doing a special on testing on cars, we don't need to. It works. Straight Up. Its going on my car in about 2-3 weeks. Price is the same as the FWD version. $219 tan or green springs.

Sweet! How much installed? Whats the best for a street use only car? The most I'll use an LSD is doing a 180/doughnut or two in a parking lot, taking turns fast :naughty: ,launching of course and in the rain/snow/sleet/ice. (my car got stuck on ice like 5 times this past winter  )
