Who else got ripped off on Zilvia.net Stickers??

Wanted to know how many of us actually paid $5 for a Zilvia.net sticker and never got it?? I paid for mine approx. a month ago and never got it, emailed em too, nothing....

Not sticking up for Zilvia.Net here, but have you considered resonable delays such as the moderator or list administrator actually HAVING a life and NOT donating 100% of their time to this forum?? Or maybe the administrator is waiting for a sufficient amount of requests to come in for the stickers PRIOR to going to a Printer/Mimeographics Shop and placing an order. Most Printer/Mimeographics store set MINIMUM order amounts prior to printing anything. Or maybe Paypal screwed something up and your money was not properly delivered, etc., etc. etc.. WHO THE HELL KNOWS WHAT THE DELAY WAS/IS. ..who cares either!!!

Anyhow, WHATEVER the reason, the $5 bucks is a donation to running AND maintaining THIS site. I give West credit for taking on this site. He didn't have to do it & I'm pretty sure he ain't making very much money, (IF ANY), from this site. Maybe he's doing it out of love for the community..hahaha...YEAH RIGHT!!...For all the CRAP we give him he could have just pulled the plug on Zilvia.net & left us all out in the cold. For leeches like me who HAVEN"T donated squat to the operations of this board, people will take advantage of FREE stuff untill it is no longer available for free & then move on to the next free site. I dunno about everyone else but a whether or not west has a life outside of zilvia, the fact of the matter is that a deal was made. whether it is $5 or $1000, a deal is a deal. If there is some kind of delay, thats cool. But the Seller needs to keep the buyer in touch with what is going on. But also like everyone has said, I hardly doubt he is trying to rip you off. But West should be a little more prompt with his donaters. IMO

if it was me, i would want my sticker too.. but, as long as i know the site is running.. i wouldnt be too worried about "whether or not you'll get your sticker" -- you'll be okay man, you'll get it. and, once you do you can put it on your car, your toolbox, or your computer.. whatever makes you happy.

people always want to keep in touch, yes keeping in touch is important.. but you have to understand that EVERY company lacks in keeping people in touch. call SBC and get DSL installed, you'll realize how shitty customer service is. not that this is an excuse.. there's never an excuse for BAD customer service.. but to me, customer service isnt always getting things on time -- you have to look at the big picture. what if it was a shitty sticker and it came on time, would you be happy? maybe this is like, a really high quality sticker. OR, maybe his efforts focus more on keeping this place running. would you want a sticker quickly and yet, have an account on a shitty forum?

i get complaints all the time with my business, i dont work quick enough. sure, i want to change and want to work quicker. you have to remember, you cant have ALL THREE: quick, cheap, high quality. you can only have TWO.

As much as I agree that the $5 does contribute to West's server fund, he clearly did not give West the $5 for the server. He gave it for the STICKER. I too would be wondering where my purchase was if i hadn't received any info about it in a month, REGARDLESS of how much it cost me.

Even if it did take long to mail the sticker because of how busy he is, if he can run a site like this, he can return an email in 720 hours (30 days). Yes, I'm sure West has other emails and things to attend to, but I'm sure he knew he was taking on a responsibility when creating something like this.

I believe I waited about 3-4 weeks as well to get a sticker, but in my case, I actually forgot I sent the money and was surprised when I received it in the mail :p

Soo basically I can understand why he'd be concerned. And yes, it isn't an intercooler, it isn't something to be totally bummed out about, but at least he could have spent those lil $5 elsewhere. Oh and dont worry, you'll get your sticker.

It's been a great ~4 years, but with the controversy surrounding the 'Unreceived Sticker' incident we've got to shut down. That, and the fact that we're bilking users out of $5 and $10 (respectively) for stickers and premium memberships.
See, now that we've not sent about 10 users their stickers, and we've got about 20 premium members, Mark, Irena and Elaina, RJF, Myself and all the other mods are all set for life with FAT bank accounts. I'm going today with my Zilvia.net paycheck to the local GT-R store and buying an R34. Any sugestions on color?

I oredered one too. A little over a month ago (i think) and haven't gotten it yet. It's just a sticker...and I certainly don't mind donating to Zilvia (although I'd still like to get the sticker :) ) Anyway, I'm surprised you care. You barely post on here! :rofl:
