I bet that's alot of fabrication $$$...but I bet the finished product would look sweet.:)

t-tops will take the structural rigidity out of the roof. your car will twist like crazy with t-tops. i've never been a fan of t-tops. i dont even like my sunroof, but i can't do anything about it.

hmmmmmmm.....good point. Didn't think about that. It might could be countered with some structural bracing elsewhere. But it's probably not a good idea if you plan to race it...would be a nice show car mod, though.

on a 92 with T tops you think it would twist like crazy?

It definitly would.. Try driving a convertible S13 and you'll understand.

I'm a girl, I'd prefer a rollcage in my car. (After some major speed modifications). T-Tops on a car that wasn't SUPPOSED to have T-Tops is nothing but trouble, just as Vancouver said.

Lol, that's kinda different . I would still sacrifice a T-Top for security in speed, I'm sure most of us would...

ok, i've got a funny t-top story. a friend had an old cutlass (like an 84 or something) with t-tops. he would pick up a girl, take the t-tops off, and then accelerate as hard as he could. now the thing is, if it had just rained, that would mean that the whole top half of her would be covered in water from all the water sitting on his roof. mmmm.... wet t-shirts.

Unfortunatly in my old car you did'nt need to take the T-Tops off to get wet One of the worst problem's with T top's is the leaking.

A T-top on my 240? I can't picture it. I dont think I would pay that much for one if I can't even picture it in my head, but that is a good question...

t-tops on a 240.. i can definitely see it. it'd be pretty tight but the whole safety thing MIGHT kind of be an issue. i dunno i'll have to think about that one. lol

Do not, do NOT, DO NOT .. oh, please, DON'T EVER mess with the body of a beautiful s13. Promise me now. Please.

You (whoever asked first) may not know me, but I owned a 240sx convertible and the only thing I ever did was come here and bitch about how much I missed my smooth-riding 240sx coupe. If you must own a roofless car (I can relate), get one. But never, under any circumstances, alter the perfection Nissan achieved the first time. You'll regret it. And then sell it. And then walk to work while you figure out what you're gonna buy instead.

Hypothetically speaking, of course. =)
