Background Info:
Since 7th-8th grade I wanted a 240sx, well I started young and have learned everything on my own. when I started sophomore year in high school I was looking for a 240sx, my brother had also wanted one and was the reason I liked them. My brother and I agreed he pay for $1200 and I paid $300, I will pay him back once I get a job and can drive. Got the car in November 2010, didn't get my license till February but I cleaned the car every Saturday and drove it up and down my street. Got my license in February and drove it for 2 months till I got a ticket, 104mph lol. You live and you learn but I'm sooo glad I got that ticket because I learned sooo much over the next six months while my license was suspended. I gutted the car and cleaned what I could. I all I did for six months was learn more about cars and how they work. Once I got my license back it was October? again but I was on a robotic team and learning: CAD, Electricity, Machining, CNC, Programming. So I spent over 250hours building a robot with my friends in 8 weeks. (http://www.usfirst.org/) Sometimes if it snowed and we were at a work session, after words my and my friends would go drifting in the parking lot, lol. Anyways not much happened during the school year and in the summer finally paid my brother and bought a Megan exhaust, Energy Suspension Bushings, and a 5 speed for $60. The trans sat for a while till February the next year when I did my 5 speed swap. Did it over the weekend with little help other than guiding in the trans. Unfortunately I put the bearing in backwords and it blew up and I had to pull it back down the next weekend. Made my own shift knob and was pretty happy. The trans was okay but next was 5 lug swap, my tires were showing steel and I was dailying it and it was kinda unsafe lol. I started on the front with Contano hubs and 88 Rotors drilled/slotted Rotors with pads. People would make fun of my car but only a few people knew what it would really become. Finally got enough money to buy the rear setup. (Oh yeah the wheels I was borrowing from my brother till the summer.) My teacher had got me a job with a company called AeroPropulsion and I did CAD work for jet engines and some maching and worked on a CNC program soon to find out its 'X' and 'Z' axis were not reading right... anyway bought PBM Coilovers and RUCA, Miro 398 18x9.5 + 20 with Federal 595's, Whiteline Rear sway bar, SPL Solid Rear Subframe Bushings, Side Skirts (unknown), Window Visors for super cheap. Not much happened after that other than buying books and my Macbook for school. Im at University of Cincinnati, undecided right now. I stayed on Campus in the dorms so I didn't do much to my car other than suede wrapping my dash, and going to the junk yard finding a Nismo 1.5 diff and also getting Q45 calipers. That was my tax refund, also had to pay for more books. leading into this summer... I have bought a Everlast 185DV Tig welder which works great, and my cousins S13 SR20DET RedTop. originally I wanted to go RB25DET but Zerolift didn't have any and got my SR for a good price. Tubbed and tube core support with lots of under the hood goodies.

I will be building myself and have paid for everything on my car by myself, yes I'm 19 and am about to have a fully built Sr20, I work my ass off to get what I want. Heres progress...

After all that I got my tax refund and started piecing together a ka24e turbo kit, rb20 turbo, cxracing manifold, custom pipes; decided against it and sold the manifold and still have the rb20 turbo(for sale if anybody wants it, little shaft play). also picked a Nismo Diff for $60 at the junk yard. I'm sure I'm forgetting things anyway I was going to go rb25 but bought my cousins sr20 instead. More will be in the next update.

Bought a New welder, Everlast 185 DV, very good welder and would recommend anybody that wants to do their own welding, welds on AC and DC (means it does aluminum too). Have a Lincoln flux core welder for sale $100 works great only 1.5 spools of wire.

Yea it was pool noodle and pvc pipe, it started when my friend and I acted like we were drifting around with pool noodles as shifter lol. Valve cover is going to be repaint to be wrinkle red since it looks pink in person. I still have to upload a bunch of photos and take more tomorrow.
