Quick Question - My 240sx dynoed 136 hp and 134 tq at the wheels, just wondering what it would approximately be at the crank as I have no clue how much of loss there is from the crank to the wheels.
Thanks.

this is a guess, but I think it's like 30%. I'm sure if I'm wrong someone will correct me.

15 percent is average
I though it was 20% loss of power when dynoing on the wheels versus the flywheel.

Cars are different. There's no excact measurement like "20%, or 15%" Also just wanted to add that even talking just whp, dynos are different too. Go to 5 different dynos and you'll get 5 different graphs. They can very more than 10 HP, even on dynojets.

so many variables its crazy, just know that if power goes to some extreme number like 50% orig. theres something wrong... obviously.

The universally accepted number is around 17.3% parasitic loss through the drivetrain. Thus, it's 159.528 bhp.
