Enjuku Racing - Pro-Am R32 Skyline Build

So, 3 days ago we decided to use our R32 GTS-T as a pro-am car. The guys have begun stripping, installing, and welding. Tuning Tonight, Testing tomorrow, and then finishing up the cage on Thursday. It was a last min decision so the car will not be 200% on the build quality for the Streetwise event this weekend in Orlando, but she should be out there and driving!

We are currently using the RB20DET engine with an ISIS 3876 RB turbo, ISIS Tubular Exhaust Manifold (modified for external Tial WG), ISIS RB20 Intake manifold, FiveO 550cc Injectors and Enthalpy Tune for the engine. We dont expect huge numbers from the RB20, but should be ok for this event. We will post numbers!

What Engine Setup Should we do next????

RB25, RB26, VQ, VK, LS, etc... what do you guys think? NA or Turbo?

A vk setup would be badass since it's not as common yet!

Rb setup!!! It's the sexiest sound hitting limiter and blow off (besides saito's jz) and not very common only few of us using the rbs :):)

Have to agree with this previous post, but then again a vk would be freaking narley. (My opinion) would be a vk. Jz in a skyline seems sac religious lol

Rb25/26. The car is built for it and it is an amazing engine. Saves on cost and not v8 fad stuff.

RB26 turbo!! Nothing sounds sexier. AND NO PLEASE NO V8!! Enough of these dull lazy sounding engines. :picardfp:

Please don't bastardize that R32.. They should be true to their roots and bring back some of that JDM spirit to the USA!

hey just wondering what numbers are you guys expecting with that setup on the rb20?

KA-T, plenty of torque to roll the chassis, cheap parts and it will reduce and move the weight back behind the steering rack.

KA-T.

I love my v8, but I think this should get a awesome RB26 build.

RB26, man nothing sounds like those motors!

Cool build. See how much you can squeeze out of the RB20. If it pops, throw another in. I think RB20 blocks are cheaper than KA's nowadays. Haha.

as cool as it would be to see a JZ or VK.. please just do an RB25 or 26.. maybe even an rb30? I think a v8 or JZ would be sacreligious

Built RB20 would be very different because it seems that almost no one does them. Everyone seems to love the SR, sorry I have an s14 and that is what everyone else seems to do. I put in an RB25 so you see I would like to see it stay with some sort of RB so 20 or 30 would be very cool.

our rb20 just made 300 limited by fuel. putting some 110 in it and see if we can push her to 400hp. Enthalpy is always there to help us with our nissan tuning!!!

I am pretty sure we are going to stay Nissan and not go the ls route. I think its important for the r32 to stay nissan.

When did isis start making rb turbo manifolds?

lewisfk

VK SWAP, due to the RD and the lack of aftermarket support. I believe Enjuku has the staff and money to make it happen. Next swap is VK SWAP s13, all Isis parts.

Anything RB. Sounds sick and not a lot of people use them for drifting

VK, with ITBs and a big single turbo would be phenomenal

I too vote VK, since it's not a common swap.

i was looking into the vk motor since i knew nothing about it and found this.
"the VK45DE was used by Nismo (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nismo) for Super GT races with the Nissan GT-R (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nissan_GT-R) instead of using the GT-R's VR38DETT (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nissan_VR_engine) twin-turbo V6 engine"

so go vk and your still sticking to your roots.

So what is new with this project? Has a decision been made on what motor to go with?

Hey guys sorry for the late response, I just got back on Sunday from the Third round of SWD at VIR and have been playing catch up on work and sleep.

We ended up going with a RB25 engine that we built the bottom end with CP pistons and Manley Rods. We also went with a Garrett GTX3071r turbo and had a RS Enthalpy Rom tune to run 110oct race gas. The car will be dyno'd this coming weekend to see where it is for power but the Rom tune was mailed into us as we didnt have enough time to get it on they dyno before the event.

Here is some pictures of the car from the event.

Over all the event went really well, I was able to qualify 13th in my First pro am event. But was knocked out in my first round by Sean Morgan. The car performed well but needs a few tweaks done before the next event and I personally need more seat time sliding a RHD car to get more comfortable and aggressive with it.

Ill check back in after this weekend after we Dyno the car and after I drive it again at this local event down in South Florida that I will be driving the car at Three Palms Speed way.

Those fiveO injectors actually any good? Was thinking about getting a set but a little iffy about it.

Enjuku Racing
11-06-2014, 08:47 AM
FiveO injectors are great! We've ran them on many of our racecars here and a few of us here have them on our personal cars. We well a ton of them too.

Tank240sxT
11-06-2014, 01:21 PM
They are good injectors as I had them on my KA-T project. RS Enthapy will also do tunes with these injectors. I would say if you need injectors these can be trusted.
