I found a pretty large article along w/ two photos. the car looks similar to some other pictures that i think someone posted here. i think this might be the final product. This site includes two pics and full specs on the engine. Possibly more than you could have asked for? http://www.motorcities.com/articles/02nissanskyline.htm

That's been known for a little while now...the car that everyone's concerned about is the GT-R.  Nissan is splitting the Skyline and the GT-R into two totally different cars...a family sedan and a yet to be unvailed sports coupe.

why!!! we should just have a skyline gts-t or gt-r w/ a rb in it. that's basically a whole different car w/ the skyline name, now ppl in the US aren't going to respect the skyline name nearly as much.

i see. i knew about skylines in general but i never really kept up on them much cause you can't really buy one all that easily in the us. i just stumbled on that article and thought it was kind of interesting.

They're not splitting, it's been that way. The GT-R is a version of the Skyline.

Well anyway, the new skyline chassis code is V35, change from R34. And the RB inline six is gone <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':('> and a V6 is in it's place, I believe called the VQ35DD.

The V35 Sedan is coming to the states as the Infinity G35.

And the GT-R version of the V35 will be released in a couple of years, so the R34 GT-R will continue production. And when the V35 GT-R is released in Japan, it WILL come here as the Infinity X35.

but still though, skylines r still well known for their gts-t's, which r still very respectalbe, even though there r the sedan or family car versions.

I know the Skyline and GT-R have always been separate, but I thought they shared more in common than some of the concept pix floating around.

the base skyline is probably going to be sold under Infiniti in order to compete with M-B, BMW etc. &nbsp;and the GTR will be the performance model that WE know as the skyline. &nbsp;Not sure what the actual names will be yet. &nbsp;
