Well..... Looks like we're stuck with the [email protected]#$$%K

The PC's would have gotten rid of the stupid tax grab pain in the ASS!! e-test but NOOOOO!! we're stuck with the reds

Anyway, what do you guys do with your swapped ka to sr for e-tests?
I'm planning on re classifying mine to Hot Rod status, any of you done this?

When I spoke to drive clean that's what I was told to do, they gave me a case ID and sent me a form...

Where are you located, I'm in Ottawa.
I have spoken with drive clean Ontario and they told me that the car qualifies for hot rod status due to the fact that the motor was not available in north America and it's pre 2000...
In that case it's suppose to be reduced to 1980 emissions

We will see
I'm ok due for 2 years, just got it done with the KA in it.

Thanks
for the reply

Which really only means 97/98 kouki can now be engine swapped without failing emissions.

My obd1 s-chassis are all registered with drive clean as hot rods. Combined with a 2spd idle test I pass effortlessly & always have. Why people do not apply for hot rod status is beyond me.
