I just recently bought a 95 & everything was running fine until I ripped up the old nasty carpet (that I will be replacing soon). My fan was no longer turning on & I noticed a random pink wire not connected to anything but it leads up to the switch for the fan. Another pink wire that also leads out from behind the switch is already connected to something. There was a wire that I didn't take a picture of that is yellow. It runs from the switch to the engine bay to split off & connect to the fan & battery. Anyone have any ideas? I'm terrible with wires so I'd rather get some advice before trying to do something.

Its not OEM so nobody else would really know. Time to learn how to use a multimeter and track where all those wires go.

The switch should have 3 pins:
power, 12v fused battery or ignition
Acc, the device being toggled on or off or relay for a device
ground, chassis, ground -

Get a multimeter or trace the wires to confirm they are indeed to the fan and hook them up. lets go chop chop!

I'll have to walk up to Autozone tomorrow & buy one. The one yellow wire does trace back to the fan & from what I can see (haven't got under the dash to get a really good look) both pink wires lead to that switch by the steering wheel.

Put some power to that wire and see what happens lol
