well you forgot to mention what rims you have, because stocks are 15x6, so 1. its the wrong diameter 2. the response would suck with 225's. if you have 16x7 or wider of course they would work, depending on the ofset of the wheels so they might rub.

225's on a 7 are even too big for my tastes. i would run those on 8 and up.
hell, i have 205's on 15 x 8's and they're still a little poofy

just saying 7 is the *minimum* i would go, not that it would be the best.

He's talking more about the sidewall. That sidewall is ridiculously big. Thos are more like truck tires if you ask me. I would never run those. It would look disgusting.

yeah, you COULD run em if you had 16s. it would look ugly, but theyd run. and those tires...probably from a big car, like a lincoln or some shit.

Those tires are way too tall. I would go no taller than 25.5" (which is still pretty tall) on the 240...that size tire is over 26.5" tall.

New Tires 225/60 16

I would take those tire and burn the crap out of them, thats what I do since I get a lot of different tires from my dealership

It's like replacing your 4.08 rear end with a 3.81 rear end.

The sidewall is huge.

As for width, I think it's fine for a 7" wheel. I run 225/45/17 on 17x7 front and 245/45/17 on 17x8 rear and it's perfect, but then again, I don't drift.

it would give you better gas mileage tho...

not sure if thats the right ratio, but you'd get more distance covered per driveshaft rotation...

O yeah, post a pic with these on the car, I wanna see how it looks

It'll look kinda funky. I have 225/50/15's on my 7's and they're pretty nice. I have 195/60/15's in rear 7's for that extra slip.
