View Full Version : Where does this ground go? Having issues starting my ka24e s13. Another "my 240 won't

the black with yellow is the only ground there, the black with red strip you pointed at is the main power for the starter it needs to be directly connected to the 12v battery not fused the starter is grounded on the engine it self it has no ground wire

Okay, so if I understand correctly, the black and yellow goes hooked up to the negative terminal
and
the black one (the one I fused together because clip fucked up) goes to the postive, along with the red/black wire?

yes the black wire withe yellow stripe is ground it goes in the neg of the battery and the black with red stripe is the main power to the starter it goes together with the 2 smaller wires you fused together connected to the positive battery terminal, try that and it should start

I've been there and done that. Make sure you check your main 100 amp fusible link if you blew it. Mine had blown and my alternator wasn't charging the battery.
