I got very lucky yesterday. This was my second day driving around with my just installed Greddy oil filter relocation kit. The original location of the filter is just such a PITA to get to on the SR.
My kit was missing the all important o-ring that is used between the sandwich adpater and the block. I took off a gasket off of an oil filter and it fit so I used that instead - big mistake as I later found out.
So I am driving around and boosting and getting off the freeway, when I notice that my oil pressure is very low and the next thing I notice is the oil light on the dash in on. Turn off the engine and pull over. Pop the hood and check the oil - NONE. Look at the kit and there is oil all over the place.
So I pull of the kit right there and put in oil and she starts right up with no noises. Thank goodness. I count my blessings.
Oh and btw, the new RS*R Exmag exhaust is really nice and quiet as someone previously posted. The looks are so stealthy as well.
