So my car was stolen and recovered last month, and due to living in an apartment and having no time to fix it or part it out, I accepted the money from the Insurance company and let them take it. When it was recovered, there were still a lot of valuable parts left on it.
So now, someone has the opportunity to come up on a car that still technically runs and has some decent parts on it. It is currently at the salvage yard and up for auction on the 12th of June, 2014, around 8-9am.
The car still runs fine, just needs a battery(stolen) and the distributor to coil wire(stolen) to run. To roll, it needs a set of 5-lug wheels and headlights, plus some of the headlight wiring that was cut and the windshield was bashed in, needs that too. And the back half of the exhaust(stolen). Also, nuts for the tops of the front and rear coilovers to mount them to the body.
Here is what the car still has on it:
Running KA24DE
-370cc injectors
-17 lb flywheel / Stage 1 ACT clutch, @115k on the clutch, worked fine
-Jim Wolf tuned ECM
-Hot Shot headers
-NGK iridium plugs/ NGK wires(missing Coil/Dist. wire)
-Nismo thermostat
-Oil pan gasket seeping
-A/C needs recharge and belt
Suspension/Drivetrain:
-Endless Zeal Coilovers (last rebuilt at the end of July 2011). Had them rebuilt every few years. The right front makes a clunking noise, they never figured it out, but they work fine and don't leak. I always wondered if it was the lower half of the body, but it was too much a pain in the ass to keep taking them off and sending them over.
-5-lug conversion
-300zx front brake calipers/rotors
-Front stainless steel brake lines
-Rear Big Rotor kit/adapters
-Nismo front power brace
-Front tension rods(believe they were from the old Drift Factory)
-Godspeed V2 Rear upper control arms(less than 1000 miles) Who ever buys this car, hit me up and i'll sell you the GodSpeed V2 rear toe rods that I never got to put on.
-Tein front inner tie rods / with spacer
-Nismo steering rack bushings
-KAAZ two-way limited slip(pumpkin needs to be resealed, leaks a bit, I just kept topping it off every 5k miles or so)
-17 lb flywheel / Stage 1 ACT clutch
-Tanabe rear sway bar
Interior:
-Car is a HUD vehicle, though it doesn't work.
-R33 driver's seat / S14 passenger seat
-radio/sound system was stolen(GONE)
-interior is of a daily driven 22 year old car.
-pivot headlight controller, wired up on the right of the pedals, behind dash
So, hopefully someone can come up on this car and give it another good home. PS, its now a salvage title, again, there was frontal damage back in 07, but that was repaired, just want to make that clear.
