Hi, I just had a quick question. I'm ordering a Works bell srs short hub for my s14 to use with my nardi classic wheel. I really haven't found too much info on whether I'll need a horn button with one or two contacts. I've seen a couple of people running a horn button with two contacts. I just wanted to confirm this since I really haven't seen anything concrete on this subject. I posted in the small questions thread a while ago and got no response. I currently have a single contact horn button in my possession btw. I apologize if this has been covered before. Thanks.

Most wheels I've seen is almost always single wire setup. You got the power wire and basically the horn button would just ground out for the horn to honk.

I used this write-up to have a working horn, it even shows how to use a single wire horn button.

Just to provide an update. I got my horn to work fairly easily. My QR came with a plate with a tab for a ground. I ended up just running a wire from that and wrapped with around the metal hoop on my horn and horn worked like a charm.
Here's a pic for reference. Not my pic btw.

What sort of quick release are you using. I just got my nardi this morning and tried it on my works bell QR but the horn button is as large as the works bell QR opening. I used gentle hand pressure to try and slide it in slug like I did with my current momo wheel but nardi's horn is obviously larger in diameter. I'm looking around for solutions both here and google search but it seems these horn/QR issues are limited to NRG quick release systems. I might end up creating a thread on here and risk getting flamed on if this has been covered and i missed the thread.

I used a NRG 2.0 QR. My horn went into the opening without any issues. I think the works bell QR may have a ring on the inside that can be removed judging from the online pics(i could be wrong though). A similar ring was included with my NRG but I didn't need it. Its mainly for smaller horn buttons iirc.
