So Ive followed everything to a t, besides wiring up the reverse lights. I'm just trying to make sure I can crank my motor, then I can I finish up everything To actually start it. I jumped the connector on the bottom located on the passenger side fuse box by cutting off the connector and connecting both black and brown wire. All write ups I read said do this and car will start or at least crank over. But to my dismay, it doesn't. Any suggestions? Am I missing something on this part of the wiring? ThanksThe Part to jumper together actually states to cannibalized the auto trans connector by cutting it off jump the two wires then insert to connector. Do I really need that plug in connector?

Od light flashes then goes away. Clock light is on. Seatbelt and brake dummy light is on. But as soon turn on the headlights the clock light goes away and no light on the cluster

so i got it going. it ended up being a 2 wire black and white that needed to be jumped instead of black and brown wires.
