Im having the hardest time removing the fuel rail from my s14 sr20det (swapping out the 370cc to 555cc) .. anyone have good tips on how to take it out? I already removed 3 bolts securing the rail but its just too tight of a fit to yank it all out.

My S14 SR is on an engine stand and I just started tearing it down for rebuild this weekend. Remove the top half of the intake manifold, then it should be simple to remove the injector harness and then the fuel rail with that out of the way.

Replace the gasket. You don't have to remove the rail to get the injectors out if I'm not mistaken. Just pull the injector caps and leave the rail installed, much easier to remove that way.

Technically you *should* always replace the gasket, but if it's in good shape you can probably get away with just reusing it.

The gasket looked like it was in really good shape so i ended up keeping it. Got my 555cc injectors in perfectly thanks for the help.
