Bought an S14 Notchtop with the WC ECU. Question is, Will the FMIC piping from a Non-Notched SR20 work with the T28 turbo?

Pretty sure it will. As long as its the same diameter piping and everything connects up I don't see a problem

Okay awesome. This is apparently a somewhat uncommon swap as compared to other SR's, because I'm finding very little info about anything technical. Thanks for the quick reply though!

The S13 hotpipe will not work with a T28. You have a few options, you can make it work by cutting the hotpipe and using a 45* coupler but you will lose the bead roll, you could use clocking plates or find a hotpipe from an S14 FMIC.

Why do you think this swap is so uncommon?
People run s14/s15 t28's on s13's all the time.
Do you think that's any different than the question your asking? If your answer is yes Fluoride has been known to make people stupid!

Ok, So it is turbo specific. I had figured, but again, couldn't find anything on the matter.

I literally said "This is apparently a somewhat uncommon swap as compared to other SR's, because I'm finding very little info about anything technical." So please, Sit down.

The S13 hotpipe will not work with a T28. You have a few options, you can make it work by cutting the hotpipe and using a 45* coupler but you will lose the bead roll, you could use clocking plates or find a hotpipe from an S14 FMIC.

Well, since he said he has piping for an S13 SR with a T28 on it, safe to assume the hot pipe will work on a T28'd SR20 since the compressor elbow will be same (45* angle T28 vs 90* angle T25).

Also, cold pipe will need to be modded. S13 throttle body is located lower compared to an S14 throttle body/intake manifold. From my experience, you can cut the S13 cold pipe, right as it's making the bend down at the end, to line up with the S14 TB.

Unless you have the S13 cold pipefor a Greddy intake manifold, then it should line up to an S14 intake manifold since the placement of the TB is the same.

one solution for using the S13 SR cold pipe onto the S14 SR intake mani-

cut the cold pipe and buy a 45* coupler. that's what i did.

From what I read, I assumed he had S13 piping. You are right about the cold side, completely forgot about that.
