I'm probably making a huge mistake posting this in gen pop but I'll take the risk to see what people have to say.

I'm wondering if anyone has encountered issues such as these;

I drive the car for any amount of time & when I shut it off and go to start it back up it'll catch once or twice then die. Then it won't start for any given time.

Background on this;

This problem only happened after I finished doing a few things.
I got a new turbo manifold so while putting that together with new bolts and such I went ahead and jacked the motor up one side at a time and installed my new motor mounts. In the same few days I swapped my MAF to a blow through setup.

And went ahead and did a compression test to ease my fears since I just added a new TiAL with a stronger spring. 170 across the board.

After the first time it did not start I got it home 30 minutes later and checked plugs & spark. pulled distro cap and cleaned the contacts & rotor.

I've had the starter warrantied out less than 6 months ago. but I want to point to it so bad.

It'll crank fast every once in a while and it did it today a few times while the car wouldn't start.

Feedback on this?

I had a similar situation. Turned out to be the fuel pump. It worked sometimes; it didn't other times. Banging on it would sometimes help. Replacing it fixed the issue.

I do not bother with maf sensors, is it possible when you switched the location to a blow through there was something else that you were supposed to update or change along with it, since you are switching its operation?
