i recently bought a 240 and need a new exhaust due to noise and the tip is developing rust. soo i gonna buy a new exhaust system soon. my question i s would i need a test pipe too or just the exhaust system. mine is a 89 ka24e thanks!

You will need a test pipe if you will not be using the cat converter. ..The test pipe will be the replacement part

If you would like to keep your car smog legal, I highly recommend you keep your catalytic converter. If you are trying to be JDMtightyo! and dont care about how loud your car is or passing emissions, then by all means buy the straight pipe and install it with the catback.
