Okay, a few months ago I posted a thread about these abominable 4 lug to 5 lug adapters and you guys suggest on getting shaved/thin walled sockets! Well that didn't work out... They need to be SUPER SUPER SUPER thin walled...

Anyway, I bought new 5 lug hubs and have a complete z32 front brake set ready to be installed. Now the problem is, getting this cover off so I can take off the 4 lug hub with the adapter on. I can't get the right angle to hit it with a flat head and a hammer to pop it off.

Any suggestions??

Just use a prying motion,it's just pressed in. You still have a lot of other things to remove if your planning on removing the hubs that way.

Get something long with a flat end, crowbar? even the ball joint popper you're going to need

Lots of other things? Wouldn't I just need to remove the caliper, pop off the cap, unbolt the hub and Tadah! Hmmmm Crowbar.... Maybe....

Worst comes to worst, remove the spindle nut cover. Then go to town with a puller. Done.

Remember to bolt the tire back on... after you removed all other stuff put it on the ground and then long breaker bar to break the axle nut.... That is the easiest way...
