either 13 secs in 1/4, or 600 hp at the wheels,
dont know yet, im turning my 240 into a GT car...street legal atleast... i want it to out handle ANY cop car in the U.S., which isnt toooo toooo hard of a goal, but still... once my car is done, never will i stop for a cop again, they give me wayyyyy toooo much needless shit... FUCK EM'

-250-300hp CA18DET
-simple but mean looking full body kit with tasteful spoiler
-full suspension (almost done, but may eventually switch to coilovers in the distant future)
-redone interior...all leather seats and inserts and paint existing panels black/charcoal or get black/charcoal ones from a doner car and carbon fiber dash inserts.
-new black paint...hopefully pretty soon
-180SX Type X tail light conversion...hopefully pretty soon as well
and IceTek...that's kind of a big margin: 13sec car or 600hp car (that's like a 8s car).

what is the highest hp on ne 240sx ne of u have ever seen? whether it be w/ the ca, ka, sr, or ne other set up.

yea i know, lance, but it is still a big margin before i get it done... definatelly by next summer i will have either one BIG ass turbo on my baby, like one that pushes 30psi of boost... or a smaller hybrid, which should push me into the 13 sec mark....
alot of my friends say its a dream... ( but everytime they say it, i always prove em wrong and get what i said i would)

If you wanna see how a CA is done to 270, check out my buddy Jasons <a href="www.geocities.com/pidgejas/main.htm" target='_blank'>www.geocities.com/pidgejas/main.htm</a>, he's done a really nice job.
For me, I want to push 250-300hp.
NSport Turbo Stage I, ACT clutch, JWT ecu, cams, new exhaust, A pillar gauges, and all the suspension goodies.
I wan to keep it a sleeper, no stickers or decals, just a cherry red paint job, tinted windows 17" rims and low center of gravity will be my clues to my power plant.

I want it to be simple. Enough power for me to bust the back end loose and drift to my hearts delight. Oh and i am looking at pushing at least 350Hp.

interior- black seats with grey inserts.. 2 monitors..
oz audio 6.5 matrix speakers..
jbl 1200.1 amplifier..
exterior- nismo wing.. repaint original pearl white..
engine - t4 ball bearing turbo w/rev hard manifold.. would like to run 13.2 - 12.9.. hehe
####.. too many goals huh?.. ill most likely do the interior next.. then get a daily driver =P

Simple: 250 dependable ponies at the wheels - with minor mods. Sleeper smackdown special.
Anything over about 300 bhp makes anything beyond going straight (my least favorite thing to do) more difficult.
Really I just want 190hp N/A.
Can I do that with these bolt on's?
exhuast, intake, ECU, header, Pullys? What else would I need?

Realistic: 200 at crank NA.(Probably by next year Christmas) Then get some sort of a aftermarket rear spoiler with minor suspension work.
Dream: 350hp turbo with R32/R33? GTR style body kit.

Oh I will definitely show it off....it'll be a while, though. I'm hoping I'll have enough saved for the motor by this time next year. That'll also give me plenty of time to do a lot of research so I know exactly what I'm going to do when the time comes. Then I'll upgrade as more money comes availble...which might take awhile b/c I'm still a college student.:)

i want 350rwhp, just a clean ride that handles very well. it's not a drag or show car but a nice fast ride.

In the end...propably stick with the Ka along with a minor rebuild, Fmax stageII turbo kit, and pushin close to, if not in upwards of 300 at the wheels.......interior revamped, Bomex boykit w/paintjob, and lots and lots of suspension goodies......there's more...just don't want to spoil it for evryone...give a couple of years...hehehe

~bout 250+ rwhp, stronger KA internals, a Supercharger from UnStable-Hybrids(if they ever make it), B&M short shift, 18's, Apexi WS coilovers, 97-98 front end conversion, black Sparco Torinos(spelling?), carbon fiber dash and console replacement parts, all limo tint, full A-piller guages, Apexi N1 dual w/ high flow cat, HID headlight kit, and finished off with a nice White w/ Blue Pearl Paint job..... Thats about it :biggrin:

I still haven't gotten my set of Konigs. Need to get some old, steel, 4-lug rims first, and I'll have them. I really don't want my KA to blow up that fast, I wanna have some fun with it first. What else will I do? Definitely a paint job: silver, too. Gotta get some suspension work done as soon as there is no snow next year, and do the clutch & flywheel and the brakes. That's it for spring. Come May, come NOS. Also, come new fuel pump and injectors, and come enough money to get an SR if the KA blows up. Paint job is last on my list. Probably no body kits. In the meantime, Ill buy some carpet and seats for the car, but that's all. If you all contribute to my relief fund, this will be possible much sooner... *sniff, sniff*

I think I might just buy a KA24DE from an s14 (I think that it will fit the s13 engine mounts) and build it up. Once I want to switch, I'll take my Turbo kit off my current engine and mount the new one in. Maybe I'll try to blow up the old engine first.
As Lance said, 200 shots of NOS, that would be one #### of a 1/4 mile time.

West said the internals of the s14 KA's are much stronger then the ones in the s13's. So buy parts for my engine now that are compatible, the engine blows, so you put those parts into the new engine.
He said the internals of the s14 ka's could take like 15psi, the s13 can only take 8-9psi.

You know me well enough to know I'm a struggling student, I can't afford to buy an engine, let alone parts for my current engine. And unless I start up a KONKMAN RELIEF FUND of my own, nothing is going to change.

ka engines are about 1/3 the price of an sr...i think its because the sr is getting so popular and no one wants the ka...at least not as many. low demand i guess...if i get an sr engine i'll sell you my ka...its a 98

My goal is to put in a SR20 and up the boost a bit, but keep the engine and turbo stock. Hopefully arround 240-250 HP at the wheels. Best bang for my meager buck.

ca18det all the way....I just want a car that can go 0-60 in under 5 seconds or so....maybe the CA maxed out....I want it to cost me less than 15k too...might be stretching it.
I'll probably just get bolt on's, suspension stuff, and rims. I'd love to put an s15 sr in there (for low mileage) and mod it and get my car running 300+ RWHP but buy the time I can afford 5-7k for that install I'll probably have something better to spend it on. So for now I'll just put a few thousand dollars into her and keep it pretty much stock.
