There's threads on this. Altima fans work. Also taurus
91-93 fans are good. High and low speed. That's what I had on my ka.

Leave the stock clutch fan and shroud on, nothing else is better than stock.

I got the same answer on FB. I was concerned about losing HP. But I guess it does not affect it at all.

If you want to change it out you can do what I did. I bought two 10" electrical fans, cut off the pigtail from the oem electrical fan and wire them to it and plug it in the connector. This way you get bigger electical fans, keep the engine cool and still retain the stock setup. I havent had any over heating issues with this setup.

Wanting to switch to electric fans to save on horsepower is retarded. Firstly the difference is negligable and secondly the electric fans are powered by your alternator which also impose a load on the engine. It's more energy efficient to use direct mechanical energy than to convert it to electric and back to mechanical.

The stock setup cools best. The only reason to switch to electric fans is if you're having clearancing issues from a swap, and that's pretty much it.

I just cut off pigtails and spliced them on a single aftermarket 12" fan I got from work. Works fine.
