View Full Version : Heater Hose Tube on back of head

So i was tightening up one of my heater hoses because i saw it was leaking.. and all of a sudden the tube just pulled right off the head.. it looked like i could just press it back in and hammer it, but that didn't work at all..

The fitting remained pretty loose and you could pull it right out..

what am i supposed to do about this..?

I'm assuming by tube, you mean the metal hardline. I think there are bolts that are suppose to hold the hardline to the head. Maybe yours fell of. But maybe you can try to cover the tip with RTV put it back in and wait for it to try and hopefully it will hold. gl

Wouldn't that mean head removal? Someone was tellin me to use jb weld lol
