No spanner wrench, or damper knobs.
I put 2k miles not sure about the owner before me.

with no spanner, no dampner knobs, no idea of miles, and possibly being the earlier models I'd say they're worth 700 with no trade.

I'm not asking for anything special here, just stock. But thanks for the output.

LOL, busting my chops over tools? Seriously? Spanner wrench is what like 30 bucks? Damper tool just buy a long 3mm from sears for 5 bucks shipped. Making a big deal out of noting.

Not sure why you're getting so much shit over your used suspension. What you're asking sounds fair to me.

Thanks man. I understand if they were priced for 850 or something. But I'm trying to price it fair.

Spanner wrenches suck. I use a screwdriver and hammer. Damper knobs just get a metric Allen key. Who cares? Seriously. Those are not $100 items. If you want the stuff that comes with the coils when they're new, buy new coils? Lol

That's why I put that you can use other methods to adjust the coil. Lol thanks for the input man.

I dont think that the tools is what most are concerned about. I think the unknown mileage is what concerns everyone. U have put 2k on them, u dont know for how long the previous owner used them or what kind of abuse they've seen. For all we know they might be just a few rebounds from blowing, maybe they still have plenty of life, but still theres no assurance. Just my .02 and a free bump!

Any smart buyer will exercise every option available before purchasing a used set of coilovers.

That being said, Fortune rebuilds and FEAL rebuilds blown dampers in the U.S. Asking price plus stock shocks is fair even if they are "a few rebounds from blowing"--whatever the hell that is supposed to mean.

If you factor in the cost to rebuild with shipping (or if FEAL or FA are local to you), you're essentially going to pay the same price as, if not less than, a brand spanking new set. If you go through either facilities, you could even revalve to the characteristics that you want for free.

This transaction is perfect for any S14 owner that has been looking for a cheaper used set of coilovers but has the money for a brand new set. Like any transaction, there is no immediate assurance for your purchase if you had to dig deep into your cavities to find a couple of $20 bills to get yourself up to $700.

...............Atleast post a picture of ALL four coils, shhheeshhh!

I agree. The issue is not tools, but if someone can't take the time to take proper pics (and dammit pics of ALL the items in question) and has zero idea on the condition on what they are selling, it really doesn't bode well for the seller (regardless of rebuild).

Either way, buying used suspension (especially dampers) is a tossup, so it doesn't matter
