I've been researching and scouring over wheel fitment threads for weeks. Anyone can let me know if I would run into trouble putting 18x10.5 +15 on the front of my s13? I have done 18x9.5 +15 before and it was ok. If clearance issues, what mm spacer would you suggest, and and ideas on fender problems as well. Can I pull my stock fronts enough to fit the final fit?
Thanks a million for the help,

You can run 18x10.5 +15 upfront of an S13...if you want to make your 3 point turn into a 15 point turn.

The Wheel Offset Calculator (http://marksink.com/tire_wheel_offset/offset.html) is your friend.
For 18x10.5 +15 wheels on your current front end compared to 18x9.5 +15
Your new wheel will have the following characteristics:
The clearance from strut housing to the inside of the wheel will be 13mm LESS
The outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 13mm
You would need to run 18x10.5 +2 for the following characteristics when compared to 18x9.5 +15.
The clearance from strut housing to the inside of the wheel will be THE SAME
The outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 26mm
You will need to run 18x10.5 +28 for the following characteristics when compared to 18x9.5 +15.
The clearance from strut housing to the inside of the wheel will be 26mm LESS
The outside edge of the wheel will extend to THE SAME point as the stock wheel
Now tell yourself what problems you will or may face with 18x10.5 wheels up front.

He cant run 10.5 +28 up front, it'll hit the strut. 9.5j is about as wide as you want to run on an S13 since the wheel wells are tiny. 10Js are doable but you're window for fitment offset wise is really small and you'd need alot of hammering. 10.5j, pfffft...

I know that already. I just left a few examples of the kind of information the "Wheel Offset Calculator" gives.

Great info guys. I'll just have to run staggered then with 9.5's again.
Thanks for helping me out.

How wide could you go in a stock rear end with no rolled or rubbed body panels?

Grab a tape measure and measure the distance from the coils/strut tower to the inside edge of wheel well. The length you get is how much room is available.
Generally speaking tread width is measured in mm.
1 inch equal 2.54cm or 25.4mm
