seriously how is it legal, is it registered under a different car, or what? Just trying to figure this out. Is the 10k obo or firm?

in order for it to be legal it has to have several modifications done to it to be highway safe. If he's just getting some papers from a hookup in DMV, it might be able to be registered, but will not pass smog or any emissions.

I don't understand how this could be legal. Please elaborate your "hookup"

Insurance will go as a "kit car", just like a skyline or a silvia.. There's no way the company can see exactly what the car has because they run insurance by VIN numbers. Actually Insurance will be pretty cheap.

our "hookup" is Erics brother. Just as a Skyline or Silvia would be legalized.
The car is in Indianapolis.

hey this iseric on a friends screen name, but it isnt california legal due to emmisions , iI REPEAT IT WILL NOT PASS EMISSIONS. it is 10k or best offer,
the car has ruffly 80k miles on it,and as far as it being legal it is just like a skyline ...sorta since we had a "pulsar " in the usdm nissan line up it can be registered as a pulsar but instead of 1992 on the title it will be a 1988 and it has a working vin # like they would issue a kit car.

the mods list:

it has a turbo excess blow off
power enterprise intake
d-stage exhaust
d-stage down pipe
nismo flywheel
b&m short throw and shift knob
SS brake lines
new denso irradium plugs
d-stage exhaust manifold

ok other then that its basically stock in appearence
just let me know if you are interested.
thanx

you should be able to pass emissions if you know the right people :)

even if you got it registered and had license plates, etc it would still only be grey market legal.
Until it's 25 years old, it won't truly be legal.

Its not what you know, its who you know. We have all the connections to make it legal. This means it is legal to drive on regular streets.
