I've considered letting this car go for quite a while and I'm finally going to do it. This is the car that inspired me to start 240Atlanta and I've made a lot of memories and friends through it. I've tossed around the idea of getting into something with full interior and streetable so it's time to sell the hatch!
I have endless hours of work into this car/shell and will list as much as I remember but I'm sure there are other things that have been done to improve it that I may be forgetting... Feel free to ask as many questions as you like.
Here's the specs...
1993 240SX Hatch 5 Speed
-I have clean title in hand
-Includes pedals (5 speed), master cyl (needs resivour replaced), slave cyl, power steering, chassis wiring harness
-Good coolant reservoir
-Has good steering rack w/ replaced boots
-Chassis wiring harness rebuilt and cleanly routed to only include whats needed
-Switches installed for ignition, ecu, and accessory
-Push start button installed in place of cigg lighter
-Hidden security system installed (no one can start the car without of knowledge of exactly how to disarm security) (no, I will not explain this until you buy the shell) (yes, its freaking awesome and will impress the crap out of people)
-Interior fully stripped (including sound deadening) ((jeezus that took a long time))
-Interior fully painted
-Formula D legal roll cage built by Turbo Dave
-Roll cage painted (paint rubbed off a bit from getting in and out) ((the seat bar needs to be sanded and painted))
-Stock seat mounts removed and floor lowered for correct seat position for race seats (will fit tall drivers, i'm 6ft)
-Two Bride (quality knock offs) race seats
-5 point harness on driver and passenger
-Suede Wrapped Dash cut carefully to fit around the roll cage (suede faded a bit from sun)
-Engine bay stripped, then painted
-Engine bay spot welded
-Ports made for intercooler piping
-Wiring harness safely rerouted through the fender well and tucked
-Rear fenders aggressively rolled and body work done to smooth the lines (hard to tell how aggressive the roll is with the body work done)
-Front fenders aggressively pulled and body work done to smooth
-Car painted white (has a few bad spots due to stickers pulling off paint)
-Seams in front wheel wells cut, welded and smoothed out to extend the steering angle possible before rubbing the rail
-Solid subframe mounts
-Awesome wing & stickers
Things in the pictures that I'm keeping...
-Wheels - These will be replaced with some stockers
-Coilovers, suspension, hubs & diff - These will also be replaced with stock parts unless you don't want them
-Fuel Presser Regulator
-Radiator & Fans
-Defi Controller
-SR Coil
-Steering Wheel & quick release - Will be replaced with stock if desired
-Battery, Wiring & Box - The battery is probably very dead anywho
Price: $2100 (Price drop from $2500)
FYI - The passenger side window has been removed. I was going to do lexan windows but never finished. I have the window mechanism and motor that will come with the shell but no glass...
Pics as it sits are attached and here are a few pics of how it looked together and sideways. :)
