Here are some of my latest updates on the s13... tein basic coilovers and 17" rays g games (Yes im going to get wheel spacers for the rear!) Just took some quick pics for now..hope you likem

The coilovers are pretty stiff (6kg/6kg), doesnt really bother me at all and it handles great.

width/offset of wheels? ya, definately get spacers.... either that or sell them and get proper offsets, but either way they look like nice wheels. And what is up with that white stripe? Never seen that before...

Have you gotten to drive hard with the basic's yet? I'm just curious as to how they handle with those sping rates being that they are the same f/r. Does it tend to oversteer/understeer or feel neutral?

I'm curious as well. I haven't even pulled mine out of the box yet. I wanna finish painting my car before I throw them on.

Yeah, I'm going to save up for some works (that have a better offset and look nicer) but these will do for now...they are 17x7 w/ 40offset...ohwell anythings better then those stock wheels! heheh.

I havent driven hard with my new tires yet. I plan to soon, before when I had my stock rims and shitty ass tires I had the coilovers too low so I would rub like a bitch. It handled pretty damn good (better then my old car [Prelude]) so I can't wait to test it out now..

Tein basic harsh? Try 10/8!!! If you can live with that, you got balls. 6/6 ain't nothin buddy. Most of us drive daily with 8/6. other than the white stripe...
the car is clean. Don't like how the black and polished look against each other, but the wheels are clean. Are they 17x7? how about 17x8 all around?

eeww :barf: 17x7 +40. get longer studs and 25mm spacers all around! or those bolt on spacers. That would look pretty flush IMO.

But the better choice would be sell those to an accord owner and get something wider with a lower offset! Good luck!

I think if you lowered it a little more in the front to give it a bit of a rake, and pulled the white tape and mudflaps it'd look pretty fly yo.

^^--- heheh it's all good, i already expected it.

Got the car w/ the silver stripe, now that I see a lot of ppl dont like it, I'm going to keep it :). Ive seen alot of 89-90s w/ stripes so its nothing out of the ordinary. I also didn't say the TEIN basic was harsh, i said it didnt bother me at all (ive seen ppl bitch about 6kg).

Thx for the comments, keepem' comin.. good or bad, can't please everyone.

haha.. these people wouldn't know insufficient suspension travel if it slapped them in the face. The car is low enough considering the Basic doesn't have an adjustable lower mount.

The wheels aren't bad. I wouldn't have bothered getting wheels "for now" when you had teardrops already... but I like teardrops... they're old school to the max!

What size tire are you using? The sidewalls look really short.

where was that picture taken?? Looks familiar.... we should meet up sometime, i think i've seen you drive around here before.. and you fit the description one of my co-workers described to me when he was "racing around with this 240 or something".. haha yeah anyway.....

looks good though, i like those wheels. price is right too eh.
