saw a toyota 2000gt on the road last weekend. Lots of them are starting to pop up stateside.

Ill bring my camera with me to work this weekend. Lambos, ferraris, maserati's and the likes all hang out over by where I work. Porches are a dime a dozen out here, but there is a guy about a block down that has three of those GT3's. red, grey, and blue.

Hell yeah, that's probably worth more than all the cars in the OP's post, put together.

OP, you need to blur the plates, especially if you're going to photograph (likely) grey market cars. That's VERY disrespectful, and possibly VERY harmful to the owner and/or their property.

A random car going down the street doesn't raise anyone's eyebrows.

A car that's singled out and posted on a forum like this WILL raise eyebrows - there have been federal actions based on forums, targeting skylines, in fact. Yeah, some are openly listed as skylines in databases and such, but it's still not self-advertised, visually confirmable, and in one place.

In theory, posting skylines with identifying numbers is no more dangerous to the owners than just driving them around. And communism works.

I care. I don't want my plate number on the internet available to anyone. The number is linked to the car, and the car is linked to the owner's information.
It's inconsiderate to post photos of someone else's plates. If you want to post your plates, go for it, but not all of us are OK with our information out there. Might as well post your full name and address.

Take the extra time to blur out the plates, or mods please delete photos with plates and close thread.

We're talking about the skyline in the OP's post. He (after a while) removed a picture of it's plate.

And yes, people have been pursued by the feds, and their cars crushed, as a result of internet forums. Regardless, of that, even for legal cars, it's disrespectful unless you own the car or have explicit permission from the owner.
