All S-Chassis owners in the Inland Empire area be on guard, my friend was at Carl's JR off 6th street (near the 15 and maple st.) in Corona on the 19th, around 10pm or so.

A friend of mine was in the back seat of the car and the two front seats were empty. A black male in his early to mid 20's approached the driver side door and attempted to open the handle and make entry to the vehicle. The driver side door handle can be pulled but wont open the car (it's busted). Upon further inspection and noticing the passenger/my friend in the back of the car, the suspect did a "oh shit!" and promptly fled the scene and entered a 97-03 (tenth gen) Ford F150 about 50 feet away, which was last seen traveling eastbound on the 15 freeway.

unfortunately, my friends did not acquire a license plate number.

Since there is no license plate number and nothing was actually stolen, and nobody was hurt (yet), there is no sense filing a report with Coronas corrupt police department.

Anybody with similar occurrences or related information is urged to post it here.

Stay vigilant fellow IE zilvians!

When I went to pick up a friend at the orange show in san bernardino at night in my modded sc300 tint black pearl, gold deep dish, went in parked around 145am put sun shade up laid back..waiting before Concert was out (2_3am)
Im abit sleepy when Golf cart approch my car (3 Hispanic males approach it 1 "security" 2 buzzed friends chatting how it looks nothing bad...and then someone tries to look inside, hear my passenger door handle tried be open . alarm goes off I get up pull off front sun shade!
They take off fast on cart almost hitting other parked cars ... Got friend ..we left complaints no police showed its an inside bs. So heads up / parking corner of E and 5th its fairly dark at night and its gated.
Same bs happens at dave and busters and edwards cinema at the mills parking lots its being going on for years now.

Damn, shitty a security guard would be in on some shit like that. thanks for the info. wont be driving my s14 around there anytime soon. How long ago was that?

Mills is sketch. Giant ass lot with little to no security, either way they have no idea who's car is who's and I even if they did, they probably wouldn't do shit. I prefer Victoria Gardens cause you can always parallel park in front of the stores and all that, so with people constantly walking by people are less likely to try some shit... I still hate the idea of parking my car outside of a camera's view even with a security system.

I'm tempted to just invest in a taser and one day, just sit in the back of my car and wait....

but remember people...best lines of defence... killswitches, alarms, GPS, and a shotgun.
