All S-Chassis owners in the Inland Empire area be on guard, my friend was at Carl's JR off 6th street (near the 15 and maple st.) in Corona on the 19th, around 10pm or so.

A friend of mine was in the back seat of the car and the two front seats were empty. A black male in his early to mid 20's approached the driver side door and attempted to open the handle and make entry to the vehicle. The driver side door handle can be pulled but wont open the car (it's busted). Upon further inspection and noticing the passenger/my friend in the back of the car, the suspect did a "oh shit!" and promptly fled the scene and entered a 97-03 (tenth gen) Ford F150 about 50 feet away, which was last seen traveling eastbound on the 15 freeway.

unfortunately, my friends did not acquire a license plate number.

Since there is no license plate number and nothing was actually stolen, there is no sense filing a report with Coronas corrupt police department.

Anybody with advice or related information is urged to post it here.

Stay safe fellow zilvians!

wow, your friend must be pretty small.

glad his car wasn't stolen... maybe I should hire a small person to hang out in my back seat to watch for thieves.
