ka only revs to 2500

I had to rewire the maf on my s14. It idles fine with the maf unplugged but once I plug in the maf motor dies instantly. The only way it will run with the maf plugged in is if i ground the sender wire (white wire) and even then it only revs to 2500 also. Hope this info. tells my problem.

I think you answered your own question. Either your wiring is bad, or it is your maf. when you rewired the maf, did you use shielded wiring?
