Fuel tank... S13

Hi, I am wondering if vert gas tanks are the same as the coupe/hatches. I would assume that they are but I'm not sure and can't find an answer. And I am sorry this is most likely a re-post but I have searched with no result.

Yes they are. I replaced the fuel tank on my '93 hatch with a '91 coupes tank.

ok cool, i mean i have a coupe tank in my hatch now, thing is i was unsure as to whether there was a difference in the coupe and the vert being as that the chassis are somewhat different

Tanks are only chassis specific if IIRC...S13s only has 1 kind of tank.

Also just a little info for ya (incase you didn't know) the vert is actually a coupe. Verts where coupes when they came to the US and then later modified to become a vert, by a company in Cali I believe. Correct me if I'm wrong, just info I've found through my research of s chassis.

You are correct the company is called ASC (American specialty cars). They also did the rare "California edition" s14.

I really don't know much except my friend has an s14 95 I think and it has an aftermarket sunroof with the ASC branding logo. And on the original sticker it says somewhere on it it's a "California edition" what other bells and whistles it came with I don't know and haven't really came up on any other info :/
