Need tips about buying parts

So I've found gear box, clutch, flywheel, master an slave cylinder and a few other bits all for a s14 s2 for $400. The seller said it's all been sitting in his garage for a few months but the gear box was working fine before it pulled it out. Just wondering what should I look for when buying a gear box and those other parts too but mainly the gear box.

The op is in Australia. S2 means series 2, as in kouki s14, not Zenki.
Just like how in the UK they call em s14 and s14a

Thanks for the info. I've never heard of either term. I kind of figured the "s2" to be "series 2", just wasn't too sure on the thought.
