hey, im replacing the turbo on my sr20 and before i put it on, im just wondering if i should put my heat shields back on. do they really do anything? IMO, after running the car for a while, the tempurature all becomes the same. The aluminum sheet of metal can only separate tempurature for so long lol.

what other materials can be used that are more resistant to the heat? i would guess something with high specific heat. maybe alloys?
get your heatshield ceramic coated... that's what I did! :)
