FOR SALE
2004 Subaru Impreza WRX STi
~104,000 Miles
Aspen White
EXCELLENT Condition
ALL Maintenance Up to Date
TONS and TONS of Receipts
I am the Second Owner of the Car, Purchased directly from the Original Owner at ~62,000 miles.
ALWAYS Garage Kept, throughout its history with the First Owner, and Myself.
First Owner was in his 40's, had a wife, kids, nice home in a gated community in Knoxville, TN.
First owner supplied me with Spare Parts, Fluids, ALL MANUALS, and the car has a CLEAN, unmarked title.
It was VERY clear that the car was WELL taken care of and wasn't abused.
The only flaws, Front bumper has a bit of road rash, which is typical for these cars. They have a large, low, long front nose. There are a few door dings here and there, and one scuff on the front bumper (previous owner, CLEARLY not from an accident, just a scuff, such as a buggy rubbing it).
THIS CAR IS NEARLY AS PERFECT AS IT GETS, short of being a showroom car that is/was never driven.
YOU WILL be HARD PRESSED to find another early, 2004 STi in this condition.
THOUSANDS spent on Maintenance and Accessories. Nothing to make the car cantankerous, Only things to improve Reliability, Handling, Drivability, and Comfort.

I have had this car for a few years now, and have truly enjoyed it, but am motivated to move on to something different. I have been diligent with maintenance, and very careful not to perform any modifications that could jeopardize reliability or drivability. It is all in all a very well rounded car. The Recaro Seats made it much more comfortable to drive, the Feal Suspension Coilovers made the car feel much more planted and helped tame the OEM "bounce" that STi's are known to have. They are fully adjustable, height, dampening, preload, etc... ALL maintenance is up to date. I just did the Timing belt at 103,000 miles, which included a Heavy Duty Gates Racing Belt, ALL new Pulleys and Tensioner, and a brand new OEM Subaru Water Pump. Diff Fluid has been changed at every 30,000 mile interval, with Motul 90pa, and the Transmission/Front Diff fluid has been changed at every 30,000 mile interval with OEM Subaru Extra-S gear oil (have a 5 gallon drum). Prior to changing the transmission fluid, 42 Autosports Transmission cocktail (a syncro cleaner) was ran through the car for a few miles to ensure that the syncros remain clean and shifts remain smooth and confident. OEM Subaru Coolant and Coolant Conditioner is the ONLY coolant to have ever touched the cooling system.
The car was tuned under the Previous Owner's time, at Topspeed in Atlanta, GA. Scott Siegel was the tuner, he now has his own shop in Southern Florida. I personally took the car to National Speed, in Wilmington, NC and had the car thrown on a Dynojet, and the numbers were verified at 290 Horsepower and 316ft/lbs of Torque TO THE WHEELS. The car could honestly probably have more power extracted out of it, but this is a conservative tune intended to meet the needs of a Daily Driver.
Personally, the car has always been a secondary vehicle for myself. Between my wife and I, we have a Jeep, and a Subaru Forester, and we had a second Jeep and a Toyota Land Cruiser among other vehicles throughout the ownership of this 2004 STi. It has never been a primary vehicle. It has always been washed, the underside is extremely clean.
I have performed ALL work on the car, with the exception of the Wheel Bearings (because I don't have a press). The wheel bearings were changed last month, at 42 Autosports in Concord, NC. 42 Autosports is an EXTREMELY capable shop with a strong focus on Subaru's. ANYTHING that I have disassembled has been reassembled with Anti-Seize, and properly torqued with a torque wrench where necessary. It comes with a Catless race pipe installed, but one of the positive points of having a TurboXS exhaust is that you can easily remove just that section, and install the High-Flow Cat section should you choose. The car will pass OBD2 emissions testing with either setup. The car has NEVER failed an inspection, and has always been kept in tip-top shape.
It is family friendly, with four doors and a reasonable back seat. I have a wife, 4 year old, and a 40lb dog. This Subaru has been very easy to live with when we decided to take it for Weekend Family Trips. The trunk is spacious enough, and the rear seat is fine for the pup and the children. The previous owner had two little girls, and again, it served him well. The car is EXTREMELY clean inside.
I am almost certain I am most likely leaving some details out, and I will update the post as needed.
The Price is $19,000 with ALL Extras. Two Sets of Wheels, OEM Suspension, TheWeathertech Floor Liners, the Prodrive Knob, and some extra Stereo goodies to go with the car. (Audio Integrations Subwoofer Enclosure(no sub), and a very nice, clean, Custom Built Amplifier Rack(no amps) with a cover that maintains the use of the trunk. I am NEGOTIABLE with the price, with the understanding that some of the Extra parts may be retained for private sale.
There will be no joy rides, Serious Buyers Only. Must show proof of ability to purchase before a test ride, etc.. I've invested a lot of time and Money in the car, far more than what I am asking, and I value said time and money enough not to risk it for something that's not worth my time.
Thank you
